Dragonflyer Express Coach Project - Overview
The Dragonflyer Express Coach Project is a community transport scheme designed to reduce the effect of climate change caused by fossil carbon emissions from car traffic. It is open to commuters living in the vicinity of Bristol International Airport (BIA) who travel regularly by car to and from Bristol. Residents from the green shaded area on the map are strongly encouraged to consider our scheme.
The project was a partnership between Dragonflyer Mobility Ltd (DML) and Bristol International Airport (BIA) who have allowed us to use the spare capacity on their Bristol International Flyer Express Coach Service as a means of providing Bristol travelers a fast, regular and reliable service into the City for work and leisure.
The scheme is now administered by Target 80 CIC.
Commuters must make their own way to and from BIA and it is important ot note that this is not a park and ride scheme and there is no designated car parking at BIA. Users taking their car to BIA will be subject to normal BIA parking charges.
The BI Flyer runs 7 days a week from 5am to midnight four times per hour. There are two alternating half hourly services. The 330 (stopping at BIA, Bridgewater Road (King’s Head); Parson Street (jcn West St.); Bedminster Parade; Templemeads and Clifton) and the 331 which has a similar route but goes to the bus station. All services go to Templemeads. For more information go to the BI Flyer Info page.
