Car Club - Overview
Car Clubs are an excellent way of maintaining your access to a car without the need for ownership with its associated high fixed costs. They are very well suited for replacing a second or third family car and all the unnecessary expense that they entail. Savings on car club membership versus second car ownership can be up to £1500 per year (source Carplus).
We recognise that for some applications, particularly in rural areas, a car is almost essential. Membership of a car club allows a user to book a car for as little as one hour to run an errand or longer, perhaps for a weekend away.
